This project involved using cheap components to create an elaborate lighting system for a Christmas tree. The code for this project is publicly available on GitHub.

• The lights can be controlled remotely using Homenode or Google Home.
• Rules have been set up to turn it off at bedtime and turn it on just before the household wake up.
• It features several lighting patterns including one that responds to sound.
• The lights are power friendly cheap strings used with solar panels. These can be upgraded in the future.
